Pantheon – Variant
The “Pantheon” was displayed in the 1913 and 1918 Pequegnat catalogues. the clock is 17 3/4 inches wide, 13 inches high and 6 1/2 inches deep on the base. The clock has an 8 day time and strike movement on tuned rods. The label (which looks to be original) says “Pantheon B” (that model only showed up in the 1928 catalogue) but that model has flat columns rather the round ones found on this clock. This one also has has the tuned rods that are consistent with the catalogue description for the “Pantheon B”. Looks like another Pequegnat Hybrid that is more “Pantheon” than “Pantheon B”. Because of the round columns I believe it to be a “Pantheon”.
