Halifax – 2nd Edition

This silvered brass dial was the main feature to distinguish this second edition “Halifax” from the mission dial of the first one. This particular model was only advertised in the 1918 catalogue. Besides the dial change, the tuned rods replaced the traditional gong in 1918. (The First edition clocks were advertised in the Catalogue supplement in 1904 as well as in the 1913 catalogue as being fitted with a gong. The 1918 catalogue showed the silvered brass dial “Halifax” as being fitted with tunes rods.)

This clock is 80 inches high and 22 1/4 inches wide. It has a brass silvered dial protected by a small door fitted with bevelled glass. The lower main door also has bevelled plate glass. It has an 8 day movement with brass weights.

As with all Pequegnat Hall clocks it is hard to find.
